The University’s Office of Civic Engagement supports neighborhoods surrounding campus through robust partnerships in the areas of health, education, public safety, and more. Graduate students can take learning beyond the classroom by engaging in programs and initiatives that create opportunities for themselves and other students and professionals. Each year, more than 2,000 students participate in University Community Service Center programs and events in partnership with more than 250 organizations throughout Chicago.
